The print itself was awarded to the winner of the 1985 Region 12 IAHA Gelding Triathlon - a competition for versitility in the Arabian breed.

Print is accompanied by a December 1978 Arabian Horse World, with Bilal I pictured.
"Bilal I is owned by Mrs. Wegdane (Danni) El Barbari who is owner and director of the Shams El Asil
Horse Stud in Cairo, Egypt. The stud Farm is under the supervision of the E.A.O.
Wess Al Saad, a young stallion of Bilal I is now in Sweden. He was champion 3-year-old and Reserve
Junior Champion at the Salon Du C[h]eval in Paris. Another young stallion by Bilal I was purchased by the Shah of Iran this year..."
